Important too, though, is expert preparation, cooking and presentation – all of which are shaped by the signature imagination, passion and technical know-how of the chef.

At Konica Minolta, we believe this approach can apply to the digital print production environment. Just like the perfect spice elevates a dish, our state-of-the-art printing solutions help transform brand labels.

Creating the best combination can be further enriched by working with the right knowledge partner.

This is the ethos we are adopting for Labelexpo Europe 2025, September 16 -19, on our stand G60/E61 in hall 5. Together with MGI Digital Technology, we will present a gateway to spicier print production with high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions – perfect for revolutionising your business.

We will help operations first identify the requirements of their expected customer base and assess their needs. They can then explore the key ingredients, often featuring hardware and software, to address their unique requirements and tailor production accordingly.

Creating the perfect blend

At Labelexpo, customers will experience the perfect blend of technology and craftmanship with Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 230 and AccurioLabel 400, MGI’s JETvarnish 3D Web 400 and Octopus Web, the GM DC350Nano, as well as digital cutting, diecutting and software applications.

But don't necessarily think just about our state-of-the-art digital printing solutions that can transform a brand’s labels. It's about mindset: thinking innovatively, impressing sustainability and creating individuality.

Challenges in the mix

All these elements, and others can be tailored to create the best recipe for a solutions mix that addresses key trends and challenges in today’s label production environment. Some of which were discussed here such as smart labels and digital transformation and premiumization

This is something Imprimerie Coste & Fils, based in Aubenas (Ardèche), France, knows very well. It was the first European customer to choose the AccurioLabel 400 digital label press. Installed to help the operation’s continued digital transformation strategy, it addresses the industry’s shift to shorter runs and just-in-time production with technology that delivers the highest quality and a good return on investment. The new addition followed previous investment in Konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 230 press and a GM DC330Mini finishing system to expand and improve the services it offers customers.

"Digital label production offers us real opportunities to grow our business profitably," said Anthony Fambon, who co-owns Imprimerie Coste & Fils with his brother Nicolas. "The robustness, ease of use and outstanding quality of the machines are the main reasons for our decision to invest in Konica Minolta systems again. This is a true partnership approach; we have received advice and support from Konica Minolta's experienced and knowledgeable staff to help us further develop our business in markets such as labels."

Etiq’Lyon, a generalist producer of adhesive roll labels near Lyon, France, was the 1000th customer to invest in Konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 230 press. Bertrand Genin, owner of Etiq’Lyon, commented: “This investment will enable us to offer many other new business solutions for our customers spread across all industrial trades, thanks to the support we receive, very good colour stability of the machine, and fast production speeds.”

He added: “The technology, extremely competitive total cost of ownership and professional support and responsiveness from their expert staff were major factors behind our decision. Konica Minolta has been extremely good at listening to us and working together in partnership to deliver on our exacting requirements.”

As a special treat at Labelexpo, Konica Minolta will demonstrate how winning recipes can be created at the show. You can also drop by the stand and collect an exclusive spice gift that will perk up your taste buds as a reminder to refresh your production palate.
