Konica Minolta expands finishing portfolio with new Plockmatic ColorCut SC7100 Pro-T

Konica Minolta has announced a powerful new addition to its expanding ColorCut portfolio - the Plockmatic ColorCut SC7100 Pro-T. The ColorCut SC7100 Pro-T is a complementary solution to the ColorCut SC6500 that addresses many different production requirements. Both systems are available in parallel, offering tailored finishing capabilities for diverse customer needs.

With the introduction of the ColorCut SC7100 Pro-T, Konica Minolta is taking its finishing capabilities to the next level. The latest addition features Tangential Creasing, a significant advancement in creasing technology. Unlike traditional drag creasing methods, tangential creasing utilizes a precision-controlled tool, to deliver cleaner, more accurate creases. This innovation opens up entirely new application possibilities, especially for intricate packaging and high-quality folding jobs, making it a true game-changer in the digital finishing space.

Both the new ColorCut SC7100 Pro-T and ColorCut SC6500 are available through a variety of sales channels. However, when purchased via Konica Minolta, customers benefit from seamless workflow integration with AccurioPro Flux.

Thanks to the new AccurioPro Flux integration, users can now generate both a print-ready PDF and a dedicated ColorCut PDF simultaneously. With the included ColorCut PDF Interpreter license (one per device), the ColorCut software can directly interpret all cut lines and actions defined in the Flux-generated PDF. This unmatched streamlined workflow makes finishing easier, faster, and more accurate.
