Terms and Conditions
Prize Draw
The prize draw (the “Promotion”) is organized by Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH, Europaallee 17, 30855 Langenhagen, Germany (“Organizer”).
National Konica Minolta entities (e.g., Konica Minolta Business Solutions Deutschland GmbH, Konica Minolta Business Solutions España S.A., etc.) may promote the Promotion in their local markets. However, they are not legal organizers of the Promotion and cannot be held responsible for its execution.
1. Promotion Period
The Promotion runs from 28 May 2026, 00:01 (CET) to 31 August 2026, 23:59 (CET). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Participation is open to direct or indirect customers of Konica Minolta and reside in the EEA (European Economic Area), the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
2.2 Employees of the Organizer, its group companies, agents, and their immediate family/household members are not eligible.
2.3 Eligibility criteria: To participate, your organization must meet the following requirements:
- Operate a Konica Minolta multifunction printer (MFP)
- Use Windows authentication for user verification prior to printing
- Accepts that the Scan-to-SharePoint functionality will be enabled on the device
Konica Minolta is responsible for the operational aspects, namely the implementation of the software and technical support.
3. How to Enter (Online Only)
3.1 During the Promotion Period, participants must:
(a) download the report available on the dedicated microsite at https://www.konicaminolta.eu/eu-en/digital-workplace/quocirca-act-print-industry-ecosystem-report;
(b) submit the contact form that appears after the survey, providing full name, company, and business email address;
(c) accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice.
3.2 No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
3.3 One (1) entry per customer. Multiple entries, entries via agents, scripts, macros, bots or other automated means are prohibited and will be invalid.
3.4 Incomplete, illegible, corrupted or late entries will be disqualified.
4. Prizes
4.1 Prizes: Twenty (20) annual subscription license for the Konica Minolta software “General Documents AI” covering up to 10 devices, including potential setup support and onboarding assistance (approximate retail value €600).
4.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 Random Draw: Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries.
5.2 Notification: Winners will be notified by email using the address provided at entry within 30 days of the draw. Notification may be carried out either directly by the Organizer or by the respective national Konica Minolta entity in the participant’s country, acting on behalf of the Organizer.
5.3 Claiming the Prize: Winners must respond within 30 days. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or is ineligible, the Organizer may select an alternate winner.
5.4 The Organizer may require proof of identity, eligibility, and company affiliation.
6. Taxes and Costs
Any taxes, duties, or additional costs associated with accepting or using a prize are the responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Role of National Konica Minolta Entities
National Konica Minolta entities may promote the Promotion locally (e.g., via their websites, newsletters, or events). They are not responsible for administering the draw, prize distribution, or legal compliance. They may receive participant contact details only with the participant’s consent, for the purpose of local sales follow-up or marketing communications.
8. Data Protection (GDPR)
8.1 Controller: Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH is the sole controller for processing data related to entry and administration of the Promotion.
8.2 Data Collected: name, company, email address, country, survey responses, entry timestamp, and technical identifiers (e.g., IP/logs for fraud prevention).
8.3 Use of Data:
- Administering the Promotion, selecting and contacting winners (legal basis: contract / legitimate interest).
- Fraud prevention and ensuring platform security (legitimate interest).
- Publication of winner details (first name, company, country) (legitimate interest; you may object).
8.4 Sharing of Data: Personal data may be shared with local Konica Minolta entities if you consent, for local sales or marketing follow-up.
8.5 International Transfers: Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
8.6 Retention: Entry data will be kept only for the duration of the Promotion and prize fulfilment plus [e.g., 6 months]. Marketing data (if opted-in) will be kept until you withdraw consent.
8.7 Rights: Participants have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, as well as data portability. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
9.Liability
The Organizer is not responsible for entries not received due to technical errors, nor for any losses arising from participation.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Germany. The Organizer’s decision is final, where lawful.
