Making it count: Alina Tarasevich’s journey in Industrial Printing
When Alina Tarasevich walks into Konica Minolta’s European Label Engagement Center in Prague each morning, she’s not just starting another workday – she’s helping to bring innovation to life.
As an Industrial Print Operator, Alina works with Konica Minolta’s state-of-the-art industrial printing systems – machines that combine precision and speed with sustainability to meet the evolving needs of modern business. By making high-quality industrial printing more accessible, efficient, and environmentally conscious, these solutions empower companies of all sizes to achieve professional results with ease.
For Alina, however, these machines represent more than technology – they're instruments that enable creativity, problem-solving, and human connection. She sees her work as bridging the gap between technological innovation and the creative vision of customers across Europe.
A passion sparked early
Alina’s journey into print started back in her school days, when she was inspired by a neighbor who had studied polygraphy at university. That early encounter sparked a lifelong fascination with the craft.
“Printing allows you to create something tangible – a real product you can see and touch,” she recalls. “I’ve always been fascinated by the transformation of ideas into tangible outputs, and solving the challenges that come with each new project.”
Alina relocated to the Czech Republic from Belarus. Starting over in a new country brought a degree of uncertainty, especially when it came to finding a role that matched her skills and passion. That all changed with a job offer from Konica Minolta.
“When I was offered a position at Konica Minolta, I decided to seize the opportunity. It turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.”
It's a decision that continues to pay off.
“I’m proud of how far I’ve come,” says Alina. “Today, I'm working in an advanced digital printing environment. Coming from the analogue world meant I had a lot of questions at the start. Over time, I've learned so much that it's now my colleagues who come to me for support. That gives me a real sense of achievement.”

A day in the life
On a typical day Alina prepares and runs client demos, analyzes their files, tests materials, and ensures that every print is perfect. But it’s never just about operating the machines – it’s actually about solving people's challenges.
“When customers visit us, they immediately realize we understand their field,” she explains. “You can see the interest and trust in their eyes.”
She recalls a particularly intense 13-hour demo for a client from Greece. Despite the long day, the energy in the room remained high.
“Ultimately, it was worth it – the demo led to a successful sale, and later we organized a hands-on workshop to train the client’s operators. It was a true partnership.”
Alina's work often takes her beyond the showroom as she visits customer sites to offer guidance, optimize workflows, and ensure operators know how to get the most out of the technology. In Alina's mind, true efficiency comes from blending speed with empowerment and sustainability.
“Printing is only the first step,” she says. “We also help clients streamline their finishing processes, including how to prepare machines faster and reduce waste. Even small improvements can make a big difference.”
Growing with purpose
AlthoughAlthough her job title has stayed the same, Alina’s responsibilities have evolved considerably.
“In industrial print, growth is often horizontal,” she explains. “You learn new technologies and new machines, with each step adding a piece to the puzzle.”“The AccurioLabel is compact and quiet, as well as user and environmentally friendly,” she says. “And because it's a digital printing solution, you can have a final product, like a small roll of labels, ready in under an hour. Quick, efficient, and clean, the solution embodies all the things I value most in our work.”
Alina's natural curiosity and commitment to continuous learning compel her to keep enhancing both her own skills and the customer experience. She speaks with particular fondness about one of her favorite systems, the AccurioLabel.

A vision for the future
Alina’s belief in the democratization of technology gives deeper meaning to her work. She envisions a future where digital printing is accessible not only to large-scale print production companies, but also to small businesses and entrepreneurs – anyone, in fact, who needs high-quality labels quickly and affordably.
“I want us to reach beyond traditional printing companies,” she says. “Companies in lots of different industries can benefit from our technology. We can show them that producing their own labels is not only possible, but also quick and easy.”
Accessibility is key to Alina's vision. She sees Konica Minolta’s digital solutions as a way for producers to obtain labels for their tested products as quickly and efficiently as possible. Whether it’s printing a small batch of labels cost-effectively or producing urgently needed labels on the spot, digital printing enables results that simply weren’t feasible before.
“We want to show that label production is available to everyone, right here and right now,” she says. “Operators don't need a background in industrial printing to be able to handle the entire process from start to finish. That’s what makes digital printing so powerful.”
The irreplaceable human touch
Alina’s story is a testament to the power of purpose-driven work. She doesn’t just operate machines – she creates experiences, solves challenges, and empowers others. And her passion is infectious.
“It’s more than a job to me,” she says. “It’s creative work that lets me connect with people so that we can exchange ideas and grow together.”
In a world where technology evolves at lightning speed, Alina embodies the irreplaceable human element that gives innovation its soul.
“Supporting customers goes beyond technical assistance – it involves emotion, energy, and communication,” she reflects. “Customers really feel that. They recognize that we care – which is why they keep coming back.”
For Alina Tarasevich, printing is about more than ink and paper. It’s about building relationships and making technology work for people. She doesn't just create labels – she creates meaning and purpose every day.
